Fall back in love with getting dressed.

Serious Style by Paola Arencibia

When your wardrobe is clear, getting dressed becomes easy

 again.
The Closet Detox is a focused, in-person session designed to

restore clarity, confidence, and momentum in your style.

Are you someone who

wants to feel clear,

confident, and

supported by what you wear—but hasn’t, lately?

You care about how you present yourself. You’ve invested time, money, and attention into yourwardrobe—at least at some point.

You know that what you wear affects how you

feel, how you move through a room, and how others respond to you.

And yet lately, getting dressed feels heavier

than it should.

You may have assumed the solution was

external: another purchase, a new trend, a

different store. That if you just found the right

thing, getting dressed would feel simpler again.

But what you were really searching for wasn’t more.

It was alignment.

Because the truth is, something has shifted.

Pieces that once worked now feel slightly off.

You reach for the same few things again and again. Outfits that should feel

straightforward suddenly require negotiation.

The closet is full.

But inspiration is thin.

Not because you’ve lost your appreciation for

style—

but because who you are has changed.

Right?

Getting dressed

starts to feel

clear

and supportive again.

You open your closet and know what belongs

there.
You know what to reach for.

You’re no longer pulled by trends, old versions of yourself, or clothes that don’t match your life or

pace anymore.

Getting dressed becomes quieter.

Simpler.

More intentional.

The Closet Reset is an inperson session where we work directly in your home to recalibrate your wardrobe so it reflects who you are now—not who you used to be, and not who you think

you should be.

Together we focus on silhouette, proportion, and personal expression in a practical, grounded way—clearing what creates friction and strengthening what actually supports you.

The result isn’t a “new you.”

It’s a more honest, integrated one.

You’ll leave with a clear framework for getting

dressed and shopping going forward—without starting from scratch every season.

Your closet becomes something you rely on, not something you avoid or wrestle

with.

We work with what you already own.

The Closet Detox isn’t about replacing your wardrobe or starting over.

It’s about learning to see what’s already

there—what still works, what needs adjusting, and what may be quietly holding you

back.

You begin to understand why certain pieces feel effortless and others never quite do,

even if they technically “fit.”

That clarity changes how you get dressed

immediately, without adding more to your

closet.

We address

the deeper patterns

behind your

style.

Style confusion rarely comes from a lack of taste.

More often, it comes from transitions—life changes, identity shifts, evolving roles.

During the Closet Detox, we look at how those shifts show up in your wardrobe and gently recalibrate them.

The result is a style that feels grounded, current, and aligned with who you are now—
not who you were five years ago, or who you think you're supposed

to be.

This Is For You If…

Getting dressed has started to feel harder than it used to, and you can’t quite explain why.

You care about how you present yourself, but lately your closet doesn’t seem to support you the

way it once did.

Maybe your life has shifted in ways your wardrobe hasn’t caught up with yet.

Careers change. Bodies change. Relationships, roles, and rhythms evolve. When those transitions

aren’t acknowledged, they tend to show up

quietly in the closet—clothes that no longer feel right, outfits that miss the mark, a sense of friction where there used to be ease.

The Closet Detox is designed for this exact

moment.

It helps you recalibrate your wardrobe so it

reflects who you are now—not who you were five years ago, and not who you think you’re supposed to be.

This work meets you where you are and helps

translate who you’re becoming into something

 you can actually wear.

Welcome to

The Closet Detox

An in-home session that brings clarity,

structure, and alignment back to

how

you get dressed—using the wardrobe you already own.

After the Closet Detox,

You’ll Have:

How to identify what

 truly belongs in your

wardrobe now

You’ll know how to distinguish between pieces that support you and pieces that are simply taking up space. No more guessing, rationalizing, or holding onto clothes out of habit or guilt—just clarity about what earns its place.

A clear understanding of

your silhouette and

proportions

You’ll learn how your body wants to be dressed — in a way that feels natural and grounding, not restrictive or trend-driven. This becomes the foundation for getting dressed with ease and confidence.

How to get dressed without overthinking

Outfit indecision fades when your wardrobe is aligned. You’ll know what works together, why

it works, and how to create outfits that feel intentional without effort.

A framework for editing and evolving your style over

time

Instead of starting from scratch every season, you’ll have a reliable system for making thoughtful changes as your life shifts — without chaos or overwhelm.

How to shop with discernment (or stop shopping altogether, if needed)

You’ll understand what’s worth bringing into your wardrobe and what isn’t — saving time, money, and energy. No more impulse buys that don’t quite land.

A renewed sense of trust in yourself and your choices

Perhaps most importantly, you’ll walk away feeling steady in your personal expression. Getting dressed becomes supportive again — a tool, not a source of friction.

“The most fun and tangible way to step into a new identity.”

I took advantage of this offer last year, and it changed a lot for me. If you’re looking to shift into your next identity and uplevel, the most fun and most tangible way to do it is through your clothes.

This work makes transformation feel embodied and real. Healing can be fun.

SUMMARY OF WHAT YOU'LL SHOW, TEACH, OFFER IN YOUR PRODUCT.

YOUR Stylist

Paola Arencibia

I didn’t begin my career in fashion.

My background is in literature.

For more than two decades, I taught and wrote about language, story, and identity—studying how people make meaning

through narrative, symbol, and lived

experience. Much of my work focused on character:

how it forms, how it evolves,

and how it is expressed.

Again and again, I witnessed something fascinating. When people undergo inner

change—when they move through transition,

 reinvention, or threshold moments in

their lives that change inevitably seeks an outer

form.

More often than not, clothing becomes

the place where that tension appears.

A wardrobe is never just a collection of

garments. It’s a living archive of who

we’ve been, what we’ve lived through,

and who we are becoming.

When that archive hasn’t been updated

to reflect the life we’re living now, friction appears.

Getting dressed feels confusing. Choices feel

uncertain. There’s a quiet sense of being out of

sync with oneself.

The work I do now brings my

background in narrative and identity into the realm ofdress.

Through my styling practice, I help

women interpret the story their lives are asking them to inhabit now—and translate that story into clothing that supports their presence, their movement, and their expression.

The Closet Detox is built on this understanding. It’s a

guided process ofinterpretation and

integration—using clothing as language, structure,

and a tool for coherence—so that the way you dress once again

reflects the life you are actually living.

CLIENT EXPERIENCE

“A gift I didn’t know I needed.”

Paola taught me that style is about energy. She looked beyond my exterior and uncovered how my soul wanted to show up in this world. She helped me understand what everything I wear means and why it matters.

She didn’t give me fashion—she gave me the confidence to become more me. I am forever changed.

- Caroline de Posada

CLIENT EXPERIENCE

“I released what no longer served me—and gained clarity and confidence.”

Before working with Paola and Serious Style, I had a lot of mental resistance around fashion, styling, and shopping. After our Closet Detox session, I released so much—both clothes and memories—that no longer served me.

Paola taught me how to think when putting together an outfit, which has saved me time and completely shifted my relationship with getting dressed. We created nearly 40 outfits without buying a single new piece.

CLient experience

“Clothing isn’t superficial—it shapes how we show up in the world.”

We often think of clothing and fashion as superficial, when in reality they speak directly to who we are and how we want to present ourselves in the world. Paola has a thorough understanding of both style and psychology.

Working with her helped me step into who I am now and clarify how I want to show up in this phase of my life. The experience was both enlightening and genuinely fun.
